Fundacion Chol – Chol have worked for more than three decades to help Mapuche rural families from Southern Chile to get out of poverty. More than 1,000 women and 3,000 children have achieved a big change in life thru the income that the weavers receive by the sales of their crafts. They rely on Fair Trade to make a difference in the lives of their artisans.

Fundacion Chol – Chol markets textile pieces that are entirely hand-made using the ancient Mapuche techniques of wool-spinning, natural dyes and weaving on the traditional loom.

Flexible and fashionable gift set of 3 Medium Mittens perfect for covering the five fingers separately. These are available in various colors. The textiles commercialized by the Chol-Chol Foundation preserve the ancestral weaving techniques of the Mapuche People. The process uses 100% natural sheep's wool, traditional mapuche looms thread the wool, and all products are hand woven or hand knitted. The textile products are all naturally dyed using local flowers, vegetables, roots, plants, fruits etc. All products are of an extremely high quality and we are certain that you will appreciate the artistic creativity and uniqueness of each individual textile.
