Asian Travel Collection was founded ten years ago and did reside in Blue Hill, Maine. The inventory was purchased in 2007 by the Crowells and moved to Canton, NY. The Crowells are happy to have acquired a collection which spans 40 years of travel in Asia. The beauty and tradition of many Asian cultures is evident in the collection. They are a shop and gallery committed to promoting cultural diversity and environmental sustainability while offering exquisite, authentic items to fit all budgets. Asian Travel Collection supports many initiatives to preserve indigenous culture and is proud to give back to small communities in a variety of ways. They support Fair Trade principles. Fair Trade is a market based approach to alleviating global poverty and promoting sustainability. They have been members of the Fair Trade Federation for many years and recently joined Co-op America. Sephari is glad to have them join while being able to provide one more avenue for them in sharing their wonderful collection with others.
