Based in Kolkata, Sasha is a not-for-profit marketing outlet for nearly 150 craft producer groups throughout West Bengal, Orissa, the North-East and Karnataka. Many of these groups are cooperatives formed by craftspeople working in media including dhokra (lost-wax metal casting), aari and kantha embroidery, jute, and hand block printing.
