Small Sculptures and Candle Holders: Jack Chikeya and His Team. The following fine works of art have been skillfully crafted by Jack Chikeya, an artist based in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, and his helpers. Jack has found a vocation in creating wonders from the scrap metal that has started to litter the landscape as his country dives deeper into political upheaval and financial trouble. Jack is not into politics. He just wishes to feed and clothe his family and to encourage other artists to work alongside him to better their already difficult situation. Originals from Africa, LLC has undertaken to market his and other artists’ artwork in order to provide them with a source of income. Each piece uses ordinary welding machines, scrap metal and sheet metal and takes approximately 4 hours to make. These wonderful sculptures are great for the home or garden. They will instantly bring a smile to your face with their unique quirky character.
