Hennig Dyes is over 70 years old and is a Costa Rican of German decent. He began designing and building wooden lamps as a hobby and has been in business for over 20 years. His concepts are based on designs he originally saw in Norway. The lamps are made of Plantation Pine, a wood that is grown exclusively for the purpose of harvest at 8000 feet in the Costa Rican Highlands.

The Costa Rican Pendant Lights come with a wiring option. Please indicate your option upon adding this item to your cart by using the size draw down box.
Option 1) Hardwired (it goes directly into the ceiling). These lamps come with a 3 1/2 foot cord. For longer cord option, please send us an email; there is an additional charge.
Option 2) Swag Wire, these lamps come with a 12' long cord and in-line switch. These are for people that are not set up to wire the pendant directly into the ceiling. You can drape the cord and turn the light on and off from the switch.
